Raquel Domínguez She has a strange disability, arthro-scapulectomy, which impedes movement in both arms. Nevertheless, thanks to her efforts and tenacity, she has learned how to be autonomous and independent in many daily tasks. |
Pablo Pineda Although he was born with Down Syndrome, this was no obstacle in obtaining his degree in Psychopedagogy, making him the first European with this disability to receive a degree. In 2009, he was awarded with the Concha de Plata for best actor at the International San Sebastián Film Festival, for his role in the film “Me too.” |

Abbas Houssein This young Lebanese boy lost mobility of most of his body in an accident. Despite his initial discouraging diagnosis, he didn’t give up and was able to get married, form a family, and accomplish personal achievements through a job he found with the help of the Adecco Foundation. |
